Our Work in the World

The work of We are Gaia shows up in a diversity of ways — a conference in Nairobi, a leadership retreat in the French countryside, a staff training in Oslo, a community gathering in Chengdu. All sharing a common living systems language adapted to their local culture.

The Forms this ‘Work’ Takes

The living systems approach is the foundation of our full range of professional services — in one-to-one coaching and consulting, in workshops and facilitator training, and woven into bespoke programme design for organisations and communities. However engaged, we bring a shared language for complexity that helps people think, lead and act in greater alignment with life.

Regional Stewardship

Our stewards adapt the content including imagery and references of the cards and courses to reflect the distinct ecological and cultural character of their place. A living systems approach supports the unique becoming of each adaptation with its local inflection while maintaining coherence with other versions across the world.

  • Cards for Life™ is the deck, the training and the practice. We Are Gaia is the global association that grew from its spread — the cooperative community of stewards who carry this work across languages, cultures and regions.

One is the tool; the other is the living ecosystem that has grown around it.

  • It begins with a conversation. If you are a practitioner based outside our existing stewardship regions and feel called to root this work in your language and place, check out our partner journey deck and then reach out to us to schedule a meeting.
